A one-woman band
Hi, I’m Cécile a French-born, Blue Mountains–based stained glass artist, metalhead mum, and lover of all things celestial, poetic and dark.
I started working with stained glass completely DIY in the middle of the pandemic (yes, I know, cliché, don’t hold it against me). What began as a creative escape quickly turned into a full-blown obsession: the beauty of the different types of glass, the satisfying rhythm of soldering, the quiet magic of sunlight catching on a handmade piece.
The missing piece
With over a decade of experience as an Art Director, Graphic Designer, and Communications Specialist, I’ve always lived in a world of colour, texture, and light. Stained glass just felt like the missing piece, a craft that blends precision, patience, and a touch of sorcery.
What I Make
Every piece in my shop is mindfully handmade here in the Blue Mountains, using traditional techniques and modern designs & textures. I work with iridescent, patterned, and sometimes glitter-fused glass to create suncatchers inspired by:
• celestial worlds
• witchy symbols
• the natural world
• moody, nostalgic textures
• and yes, the kind of pieces that look incredible when the afternoon sun hits them just right.
No two pieces are ever the same, each one has its own personality.
Why I Do It?
In a world full of mass-produced décor, I wanted to offer something different: pieces that feel personal, magical, and a little bit otherworldly. Art you can hang in your window and feel something when the light shifts.Objects that bring a moment of calm and beauty into someone’s daily life.
Seeing my work become part of someone else’s home never gets old.
A Little More About Me
I’m an expat who’s made a home in Australia, raising a little family in the mountains while building a creative practice I love. When I’m not soldering glass or shooting content, you’ll usually find me at a metal gig with a cold beer in hand or wandering through an art exhibition.
Thank You for Being Here
Every purchase, whether it’s a ready-made piece, a custom one, or a gift card directly supports my small business and helps me keep making art that brings a bit of magic into the world.
If you ever have questions or want something custom, I’m always here.
